Who We Are
My Husband and I started Create and Play preschool with the want to provide a high quality child care with traditional values that has a creative focus, to serve the families of Boise. We want to provide the comfort, and ease of mind for a parent to know that their child isn't only being cared for, but they are also being developed and taught the skills they need to excel in life. We teach a constructive curriculum that helps toddlers learn to problem solve, develop new daily skills, and ask new questions, all while in the loving and nurturing setting of an in-home center.

My Childcare journey all started when my Husband and I were stationed overseas in Germany! I started as an infant and toddler teacher and started to work on my Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential through National Association for the Education
of Young Children (NAEYC). Once I obtained my CDA I was moved in the position of a preschool lead teacher and that's were I found my passion for life! Teaching and Growing children, there is truly nothing more rewarding then seeing the growth a child takes in such a short period of time!

After my Husband left the Military, we relocated to Boise on a whim! Here we had little Miss Sierra. As I watched her start to grow and learn, I yearned to return to teaching.
